At Vintage Vespas of California, we are experts at importing classic Vespas from our suppliers overseas and getting them legally registered in California. Our team has extensive knowledge and experience in this industry, allowing us to offer first-class services and products to our customers.

We offer a wide variety of vintage Vespa models and accessories to fit every need, lifestyle and budget. From the traditional sleek and stylish to the modern custom builds. We even offer an electric version with all the sleek and stylish looks you'd expect from this iconic scooter. We have something for every Vespa enthusiast.

Our Community

At Vintage Vespas of California, we are more than just a business - we are a community. We love connecting with fellow Vespa enthusiasts and frequently organize group rides, events, and meetups. We encourage all riders to join us at Vespa Club of America (VCOA) events and local chapter events.

The Process at Vintage Vespas of California

Initial Deposit - $1500

- Once we receive the deposit and all your order specifications and any additional accessories, the build will commence. 

- This deposit is non-refundable. 

- If you are ordering a Vespa already built, full payment will be required and shipping will occur shortly after. 

Remaining Balance

Once the build is complete, I will send you images of your brand new custom built Vintage Vespa. 

- When you are satisfied and the remaining balance is received, your Vespa will be safely and expertly crated and shipped to San Diego (or out of state).

- If for some reason you cannot proceed with payment of the remaining balance, no harm, no foul but no deposit return.

Vespa arrives in California

- Once your Vespa arrives in San Diego, I will work with California DMV and begin the registration process. 

- If you are local, you can come by at any time to see your brand new Vintage Vespa while I am completing the administrative work. 

- If you are having it shipped directly to another state, you will have to do this step on your own.

Vespa Delivery

- For San Diego residents, you can pick up locally or I will deliver to you.

- For California Residents I will ship to you for ~$400 (lowest rate available) or you can arrange your own shipping/transportation.

- For Out-of-state buyers, I will ship to you for ~$600 (lowest rate available) or you can arrange your own shipping/transportation.

- Your Vintage Vespa comes complete with rear view mirrors, a water proof cover, a spare clutch and break cable set, a spare tire (if on your model), a maintenance manual, a measuring cup and a globe set.
